Last December, I had one of the most memorable mornings with my family and friends from Belgium — an experience that inspired something very special for all of you. We went kayaking in Booderee National Park, and it was pure magic.

For many of my friends, it was their first time paddling in the ocean — and I have to admit, they were a little scared at first. No experience, just curiosity and courage. But as soon as we stepped into our kayaks, the calm, crystal-clear waters of Booderee gently welcomed us. The early morning light danced on the surface, the sea was peaceful, and the rhythm of paddling soon turned fear into joy.

We started at 7:45 am and spent the morning exploring hidden coves and pristine beaches, finally finishing at 12:45 pm. Along the way, we paused for homemade cookies, shared laughs, and simply soaked in the incredible beauty around us. Everyone’s smiles grew bigger with every paddle stroke. The water, the air, and the untouched coastline created a sense of freedom and calm that’s hard to put into words.

My friends couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved it — one of them even said they can’t wait to come back! That sense of joy, connection, and discovery inspired me to share this experience with all of you.
